Permit Center Temporary Closure Necessary to Support New Online Permit System Launch
The City of Burien is launching a new online permit system to enhance online tracking of permit status and improve customer service. To complete final tasks for launching the system, the Burien Permit Center will need to close July 24-28, 2023. The Permit Center provides permitting customer service in person, over the phone, and through email.
No permits will be issued during the closure; however, customers can still apply for new permits through MyBuildingPermit. Permit techs will not be available to answer questions about permits during the closure.
