This summer is forecast to be hot and dry, and the risk of wildfires and smoke will be increased.

While we work with our community partners to prepare for possible extreme heat events, now is a good time to make sure you and your family are prepared to stay cool and safe.

Read our summer safety tips including ways to keep cool, even without air conditioning, and ways to protect you and your family from smoke.

In the event of an extreme heat event, we will share information about local and regional severe weather shelters.
