Closing at 4:30 P.M. Gives Burien Permit Staff More Time to Complete Paperwork
The City of Burien is changing the permit center hours to 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. starting January 2, 2020. Planning staff will continue to be unavailable at the counter on Thursdays, but permit techs and other staff will be able to assist walk-in customers.
Changing the hours will allow staff more time to complete paperwork before 5:00 p.m. These hours are similar to what other cities provide.
