Many of our local grocery stores offer senior hours, online ordering, and curbside pick-up. Read on below for their hours and services.

  • Trader Joe’s Burien
    • Wednesdays and Sundays during the first hour of operation (8–9 a.m). Prioritizes service for senior customers (age 60 and over) and customers with disabilities who may need extra assistance.
  • PCC Community Market
    • Wednesdays and Saturdays reserved shopping hours (6–8 a.m.) for senior customers (60+), pregnant, or at risk. Delivery services at PCC—shop online for the same in-store prices and schedule the delivery.
  • Many other stores, such as Fred Meyer, Safeway, and QFC provide curbside or delivery options. Call your local store for details.
  • Weekly meal delivery services (for older adults and caregivers)

  • Get your blood pressure checked at the doctor’s office, pharmacy or follow these easy tips for monitoring your blood pressure at home.
  • Have your cholesterol levels, lipid profile and blood test done at the Dr.’s office. Call to schedule a cholesterol screening.
  • Learn how to manage diabetes, and monitor blood sugar level at home.
  • TeleHealth provides seniors and low-income communities with devices, instructions, and free tech-support to connect them to their physicians via TeleHealth, friends and family using digital connectivity, and wellness tools via apps.
