Project Overview
This project replaced the existing playground equipment and park furnishings that were 20 years old and had reached the end of service life. The new equipment fits within the existing footprint and has age-appropriate features for the two primary age groups: 2- to 5-year-old and 5- to 12-year-old youth. Community feedback helped determine which features the new equipment should have. This project was funded by the City of Burien.
Project Status
The project was completed and the playground reopened in May of 2024.
