Updated November 19, 2020.

Council will be discussing the new report summarizing the results of community feedback at their November 23, 2020 meeting.

Council is seeking input from the Burien community on their definition of public safety, gaps in public safety, community priorities in terms of budget, and identifying ways to improve public safety.

Council wants to hear from all Burien community members and people who have an interest in the well-being of the city of Burien. Information gathered during this process will be used to guide policy and budget decisions.

The Burien City Council hosted a special council meeting on September 14, 2020 from 6:30–8:30 p.m. on the topic of public safety. Community members were invited to speak in small group roundtable discussions at the meeting.
