City of Burien Marks the Start of Pride Month by Raising an Inclusive Pride Flag at Burien City Hall

The City of Burien is kicking off a celebration of LGBTQIA+
Pride Month by raising the Pride flag over Burien City Hall on June 4 at 10:30
a.m.
The inclusive Pride flag, which represents multiple
identities within the LGBTQIA+ community, will fly over Burien City Hall. This will be the sixth consecutive year that a
Pride flag has been raised.
On June 1, the Burien City Council will issue a proclamation
in honor of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month during their regular meeting. The community is
invited to be part of the event, watch the flag be raised, join a group photo, and enjoy light refreshments.
The Burien Pride event will occur in downtown Burien, June 5-7.
The all-day street festival on June 6 will feature music, a beer garden, drag
performances, activities for kids, and more than 100 vendor booths in Burien
Town Square Park and surrounding streets.
