StormFest 2026 Event Details
Inspire the next generation of environmental stewards and motivate students to care about stormwater and their local watershed! We are seeking community members to support StormFest, an interactive stormwater festival for Highline Public Schools 6th-grade students. We are recruiting educators and volunteers. We offer stipends for participation as an educator! No experience as an educator is necessary as training will be provided
StormFest Festival Details:
- Where: Des Moines Beach Park; 22030 Cliff Ave South Des Moines, WA 98198
- Dates: June 2, 3, and 4, 2026
- Time: 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Details: training, support, stipends, lunch, and on-site parking or bus vouchers provided
StormFest Training Day Details:

- Time: 8:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

- Station educators: We’re seeking a diverse group of educators with experience working with youth or in science education that reflect Highline Public Schools community. Station educators are eligible to receive a $435 stipend for their participation, an additional $50 is available for both returning and bilingual (Spanish) educators. Learn more and apply.
