Project Overview
S 152nd Street Project is a safety and connectivity project focused on improving multi-modal access between the Burien Transit Center and the Lake to Sound Trail. The primary purpose is to establish a complete street with a continuous, safe, and accessible bicycle and pedestrian connection between the two destinations. The project will evaluate existing corridor conditions, user conflicts, and operational needs to identify improvements that support safer and more effective travel for all modes. Anticipated improvements may include sidewalk completion, bicycle facility design, ADA-compliant pedestrian access improvements, and other corridor or intersection treatments needed to strengthen multi-modal connections between key destinations.
