City of Burien Strategic Plan Community Conversations.

The City of Burien is inviting community members to a conversation about what the City government should focus on for the next 3–5 years. Community feedback will help the Burien City Council develop a new strategic plan.

Two in-person community meetings are scheduled for May 26, 2022. A light lunch and dinner will be provided. Spanish language interpretation will be available.

City of Burien Strategic Plan Community Conversation (Two Sessions)

Where: Burien Library Multipurpose Room (400 SW 152nd St, 1st Floor)

When: Noon–1 p.m. and 6–7 p.m.

Community members can also talk to City staff about their priorities at the Burien Farmers Market on May 12 and May 26.

This summer, the City Council will review feedback from community, evaluating the priorities they hear, and develop high-level goals that will set the tone for budgeting priorities and staff work planning. The community, staff, and City Council will use the plan as both a guide and a tool for accountability. This plan will span multiple election and budget cycles and will help both the City Council and staff identify areas where they need to focus their efforts.
