The senior programs are for people age 50+ and include programs such as travel, health & wellness, arts and enrichment, and fitness programs.

Legal and Financial Assistance

Attorney Consultations

Provided free-of-charge by local attorney Frank DeMarco, by appointment.

Senior Information & Assistance

Sea Mar Community Health Center provides free service in English and Spanish for Adults 60+ and Disabled Persons 18+ with limited incomes that reside in King County. Mondays, 1:00-5:00 p.m.

Free Income Tax Returns

AARP and United Way volunteers provide free basic income tax returns for all ages during tax season. Select Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays, call for dates.

Health Care and Healing Services

Foot Care Clinic

Tina Williams, a registered nurse, provides this valuable service. Every Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. $33 per person per visit, by appointment.


A licensed acupuncturist provides acupuncture in a comfortable group setting. All ages welcome. $20. Select Thursdays, 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., by appointment.

Reiki Group Therapy

Local Reiki practitioners provides gentle, restful hands-on healing and relaxation. All ages welcome. $5 minimum donation. 2nd Tuesday of the month, 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., by appointment.

Chair Massage

Local and licensed massage therapist offers chair massages to ease the body of tension and stress symptoms. Donations start at $2 per 15-minutes. Second Wednesday of the month, 10:00 a.m.–noon, by appointment.

Statewide Health Insurance Benefits (SHIBA)

A free service that provides unbiased, and confidential assistance with Medicare and health care choices. Fourth Wednesday of the month, 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., by appointment.

Medicare Consultations

Still have questions about Medicare? Meet with experts that will help you get a better understanding of how Medicare works as well as seven Medicare traps and how our information can help you avoid them. Select Fridays, 1:00–3:00pm, call for dates.


We have a highly trained EnhanceWellness Counselor here to help you begin your journey to better health, free-of-charge. Every Monday, 9:00 a.m.–noon, by appointment.

Diabetes Support Group

Learn about living well with diabetes with new topics every month. We welcome all people who live with diabetes and their families. First Monday of every month (except when there is a holiday), 6:30–8:00 p.m.

Free Burien Shuttle Bus Rides

The HYDE Shuttle Bus provides free weekday transportation for seniors or those with disabilities who need to get to and from their personal appointments. Take advantage of this wonderful service and schedule trips to the doctor, grocery store, or other nearby areas. (206) 727-6262

Metro Bus Access

A shared-ride van transportation service for seniors or disabled individuals who are unable to ride regular Metro buses. (206) 205-5000

Volunteer Transportation

Get one-on-one service from a trained volunteer strictly for medical appointments, not limited to your local area. (206) 448-5740

Metro ORCA Bus Passes

Apply for the Regional Reduced Fare Permit for seniors &/or disabled citizens. Second Tuesday of the month, 10:30–11:30 a.m.
