Christensen Joined the City on June 25, 2018
Burien, WA, July 10, 2018—City Manager Brian J. Wilson selected Eric Christensen to be Burien’s next finance director. His first day was June 25.
Christensen brings more than 20 years of budgeting, accounting, and financial management experience. Prior to accepting his current position, Christensen worked as financial services administrator at the King County Road Services Division. He also served as director of finance and human resources at the Bellevue Convention Center Authority, and as the budget manager for the City of Newcastle. Christensen earned a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University.

I look forward to making a positive impact at work and in the community.”
