Request for Proposals: Burien LEAD Project

Issued: March 11, 2019

Closes: March 25, 2019

The Burien Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion (LEAD) Project is soliciting proposals from interested parties to serve as the primary service provider for the case management and outreach component of the project.

This program recognizes that substance use, mental health issues, and poverty are in some cases drivers of law violations and combines a public health approach with sufficient resources, including 24/7 on-call case manager response and intensive wraparound services, as an alternative to a traditional criminal justice approach. The RFP was issued March 11, 2019 and closes March 25, 2019. Interviews will occur March 27, 2019 and selection will occur March 28, 2019.
