Now accepting applications for 2019-2020 human services funding
The City of Burien Human Services Commission announced the release of the 2019-2020 Request for Proposals for human services on March 5, 2018. As a member of the Human Service Funders Collaborative, Burien is participating in a joint application process with 16 other cities located in King County. Human services providers interested in applying are able to use one application to submit to any of the 17 cities online at www.share1app.org.
Applications must be submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted.
Commissioners will review the submitted applications between June and August and present funding recommendations to the Burien City Council in the fall. Besides quality of application, the Commissioners consider other factors including outcomes, demographics, prior performance, cost effectiveness and efficiency, and focus areas identified in Burien’s Supplemental Information.
