Applying for Permits
The Community Development Department currently provides three methods for individuals to apply for a permit, including:

in line. With the ease of your computer and a credit card, homeowners or contractors may apply for many simple residential permits, including: furnace and hot water tank installations, re-roofs, low voltage electrical and various other plumbing and mechanical permits. By using
MyBuildingPermit.com you can apply for and purchase many over-the-counter building permits,.
Print the Application
Download the
application from our website and bring it to the permit counter. Mailing is an option when the project does not require plan review; consult our permit staff for requirements.
Faxing is approved on an emergency case-by-case basis by our permit staff.
Apply In Person
Visit our permit counter at City Hall. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
