Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT)
CERT Classes
The CERT program is offered once a year in a joint effort by the cities of Burien and SeaTac. The training is a Citizen Corp and FEMA supported curriculum and promotes a partnering effort between emergency services and the people they serve.

The goal is for emergency personnel to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations, or workplaces in basic preparation and response skills. CERT members are then integrated into the emergency response capability for their area.
