The Valley View Sewer District provides sewer service to approximately 8,000 customers in an area south of Seattle city limits.
The service area includes portions of the cities of SeaTac, Burien, Tukwila, and unincorporated King County. The District provides collection and transmission services, but other districts provide treatment services. The District has 12 full-time employees and operates on an annual budget of approximately $5.6 million.
On November 23, 1995, Rainier Sewer District merged into Valley View Sewer District, resulting in a four-member Board. The District returned to a three-member Board on December 31, 1999.
