Aaron Dunbar, pioneer. The first Manhattan School was on Dunbar's property.

Hattie Dunbar, wife to Aaron Dunbar, died in 1916. This is her original headstone.
Pioneer Everett Elsey's gravestone at Hillgrove Cemetery. Elsey died in 1948.
The Elsey family, many of whom are buried in Hillgrove, were Manhattan pioneers.
The Lindahl's were another early Manhattan family.
