Applying for Permits
The Community Development Department currently provides three methods for individuals to apply for a permit, including:

. With the ease of your computer and a credit card. All permits for work involving re-roof, electrical plumbing and mechanical permits including those that require plan review can be applied for online. In addition Building permits for all new structures, demolition of any structure and commercial tenant improvement projects can also be applied for online.
Print the Application
Download the application
from our website and bring it to the permit counter. Mailing is an option when the project does not require plan review; consult our permit staff for requirements. Faxing is approved on an emergency case-by-case basis by our permit staff.
Apply In Person
Visit our permit counter at City Hall. We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Counter assistance from land use planners is available Monday - Wednesday and Friday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m
