Emergency Management Plans
Preparedness is a key phase in emergency management, and planning is the key to good preparedness. The development of a plan is followed by training and trial runs to see how well the plan works. Emergency management plans must be consistent with federal laws, state laws, and local ordinances. The Emergency Operations Plan provides the framework for organizational activities during disasters and provides guidance to the Emergency Management Organization for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
