Lake Burien School Memorial Park
Help Plan Future Park Improvements
Work with neighbors and consultants to develop a feasibility design for presentation to council, incorporating neighborhood needs and vision for their park.
The Lake Burien School Memorial Park community has met to provide planning suggestions, priorities, and feedback regarding future park improvements. In addition, 174 survey responses were received. This information has been documented by the consultant, J.A. Brennan, who is currently working with technical consultants to advance the final conceptual drawings and preliminary budget estimate.
Final conceptual drawings will be presented in an Open House on Thursday evening June 15th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the new Merrill Gardens retirement community, just north of Town Square / City Hall. Street parking is provided.
Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Services will present the Lake Burien School Memorial Park community recommendations to Council on Monday July 17th. We hope that you will join us in support of your efforts for future park improvements.
