Brief Overview:  Slurry seal is a cost effective tool for extending the pavement life on residential and low volume streets. Typically, this form of roadway maintenance is applied to streets that are in fair to good condition.  This year’s program will concentrate in the Gregory Heights neighborhood and southeastern Burien (Manhattan School Park area).   More information is in our Burien FAQ section (right side of this page).

Project Status: 9-20-16 -  Slurry work is DONE .  Please drive  s l o w  on the new slurry sealed street for the next few months.  Avoid sudden turns, spin outs, or sudden stops.  Please minimize power steering turns while stopped. 

10-31-16 - Project sweeping is completed and therefore done.
